Electrical Power Panels and Power Control |
|
|
The Composite Design Power Panels are self-contained power distribution assemblies that replace most of the components found in an aircraft electrical service bus. The panels include bus bars, switches, relays, circuit breakers and terminal strips. All functions are clearly marked on the face of the panel and adjacent to the terminal strips on the main printed circuit board. Minimum wiring is required by the installer for typical aircraft. A panel schematic and general wiring diagram is included. All metal parts are aluminum stampings, treated for corrosion resistance. The face plate artwork is a durable LEXAN overlay. The panels are light weight, dependable and field serviceable. All switches are D.C. rated as are the thermal circuit breakers. Spares are available through Composite Design and major electronic distributors. Minor changes can be provided by the factory on special order, at a modest premium. Additional features include a relay in the Landing Light circuit and a filter circuit on the radio sub bus that effectively cancels noise on the avionics supply caused by the strobe power supply, alternator, etc.
