The Power Guard module manages fail safe secondary power control for aircraft that require backup electrical power. Typical requirements include electronic ignitions, engine controls, and EFIS systems. Parts of the Power Guard include the secondary battery master relay, primary power controls, secondary battery charging, and line filtration. Rated at 7 amps continuous load, this should keep the essentials going long enough to safely land in the event of a primary power failure. |
