Battery Holder

Battery holder location, right nose area, ~6 inches in front of the wiring tunnel and co-pilot's heating duct.

Battery tray.  Trimmed, slots cut front and back for aluminum bar which goes underneath to hold the battery.

Used structural and flox (floxed cotton) to help bond the battery holder in place.  Used 4 rivets to firmly hold it in place.

Last step was to use 2 plies of BID to hold everything in place.
The hardware which will be used to hold the battery in place.  Top is a solid aluminum bar which is tapped at both ends, and which goes through the battery holder. Second is a rectangular (hollow) aluminum stock with holes at each end, this will be the bar which goes over the top of the battery.  The 3rd and 4th are the side holders.
The inside of the battery holder was also glassed.  Then the hardware for holding the battery was fit checked.
