Engine Cooling NACAs
I have an older Velocity body - before downdraft cooling was implemented therefore the installation is different than current models. Positioning the pre-made down draft cooling NACAs |

Right NACA cutout and beveling of the foam at the forward portion of the NACA. Note the line on the body from the outline of the NACA. |
I cut back the outer glass and removed it to allow the NACA to sit flush with the body. |
Right NACA in place. |
I predrilled holes and used drywall screws to hold the NACA in place while bonding it to the body. |
Left NACA cutout. |
Left NACA put in place and outline drawn on the body. |
| Right NACA glassed in place. |
| Fitting Left NACA. |
| Glassing Right NACA (recommended by Scott with this older body style.) |
| Left NACA glassed into the body. |
| NACAs filled and sanded. Also small NACA being fitted. Small NACA provides fresh air for the internal air plenum. |
