Wingtip Strobe Hard Points

This is one of the hard points made from 1/8 aluminum.  The three holes are drilled and tapped for 6-32 screws to match the strobe light.  The channel is to allow the wires to easily slide into place.

Left wingtip opened up to accept the strobe and hard point.  The cable is for the left COMM antenna which is buried in the left winglet.

This is the back of the strobe light assembly showing the 3 sets of wires (colored position light, strobe, rear white light).

Left wingtip hard point bonded in place.

Left strobe light assembly screwed into place.

Left light assembly with position, strobe, and white 'tail' lights installed.

Can guess what is wrong with this picture?  The answer:  red goes on the left wing, green the right.  (However both assemblies have the exact same footprint.)

Right strobe light assembly screwed into place.
